Charlie's Ninth Day
Charlie, you're an expert sleeper. Your mama is having a devil of a time waking you up to feed. But I was relieved to find out your weight is coming back up: 7 lbs. 10 oz. at birth Jan. 6; 6 lbs. 13 oz. when we went to your first doctor's appt. Jan. 9; and 7 lbs. 2 oz. when I went to weigh you yesterday, Jan. 13 (at Sharp Mary Birch in the New Beginnings nursing shop).
Nanny gave you a nice baby oil rub down today, and you smell so sweet.
